Don't really know the context of your question, but perhaps it is referring to a RAID array of hard drives. In a striped array, it is known as RAID 0, where basically half of the data is stored on one hard drive, and half on another.

Maybe you are referring to versions of Windows that are being offered by MS in underdeveloped countries, with just the bare OS and at a greatly reduced price?

My question would be which XP you're asking about, exactly. Your title says stripped. The body of the post says striped. Both words google in the context of XP.

This could also refer to the nLite program that "strips" unwanted components from XP prior to installing it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
