I have to replace a hard drive on a computer with an Abit IP35 Pro motherboard. Since the company Abit no longer exists, is there a legitimate website where I can get drivers a bit more up to date than the ones on the disk that came with the motherboard (purchased 2007)?

mrob,

I found that site too (Western Samoan?), but those drivers seem to have the same date as those on the disk.

I want to put Windows 7 on the new hard drive. The old hard drive had Vista and the drivers on the disk are for Vista. Will I have a problem using these old motherboard drivers?

I don't have any personal knowledge.  I found this information on the Raptor Pit.  Look at the bottom of the page.  The background color makes the page difficult to read.  If all else fails, install the drive and see if it works.

Thanks mrob!
From there I was able to navigate back to Xtreme Systems (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums) and downloaded the Windows 7 drivers for my old Abit IP35 Pro motherboard. Now I just have to wait for the replacement hard drive from WD to arrive, so I can try it out.
