Have you tried booting into safe mode and deleting the file?

i've sought of half deleted it through command promp.well it doesn't show up on the list.although when i click on the file to delete it still goes into "preparing to recycle"

i originally made the file by editing a track using (Wavosaur) software.when i try to delete it..it locks up & i get a caption pop up that says"the remote procedure call failed and did not execute"

i hope this helps.

I've finally removed it.
Thanks for the advice.
