Hello, my computer has been acting a little bit slow lately. Also I have been having a lot of problems with our internet, mostly related to the wireless router we use. I can probably post a seperate thread about that somewhere else though I"m sure. I ran a pandascan scan and it says I have a virus, so I'll include that scan and a hijackthis log file. Thanks for looking.

Hello,

Bumping your thread all the time won't work.

The forums are really busy, that explains why logs get behind. We start with the oldest logs first. If you still need some help, please start with posting a new hijackthislog in this thread. Don't start with a new thread.
Then I'll take a look.

Also perform next to get rid of the cookies Panda found:

* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):
  • Go to Tools > Options.
  • Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
  • Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
  • Click OK to close the Options window
Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin
  • Go to start > run and type: cleanmgr and click ok.
  • Let it scan your system for files to remove.
  • Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
  • Press OK to remove them.

Hello,

Only some small issues here:

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O16 - DPF: {5F8469B4-B055-49DD-83F7-62B522420ECC} (Facebook Photo Uploader Control) - http://upload.facebook.com/controls/Facebo...otoUploader.cab
O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://utu.popcap.com/games/popcaploader_v5.cab
O18 - Protocol: nim - {3D206AE2-3039-413B-B748-3ACC562EC22A} - (no file)

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Nothing really malware related, so you should be ok here. What Panda found previously were only cookies and a file in your Temporary internet files, but following my previous instructions should get rid of them.

So your main problem is the internet/wireless router? I guess you misconfigured something in there. Or maybe firewall interfering. So yes, it's better to start a new thread in this forum:

Don't post a hijackthislog there, since this isn't malware related. Just give a very clear explanation of the problem with your router you are having.
