Issue: Note: Keep in mind that this has been happening for a little while, but while playing Starcraft 2, its getting to be tedious.
System has been running slower than it should be during game play, as well loading in (after log in screen).
Copying files from HDD to External HDD/Thumb Drive is delayed. Goes to "5 seconds remaining . . ." and hangs there for over a minutes at times.
Playing Starcraft 2; Heart of the Swarm, the game loads inbetween missions are lenghy (much more so than Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty) [I am aware that a newer game will have higher standards].
In game is mostly good, gets worse in larger number of units moving in one area (of course).
Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty/Heart of the Swarm:: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/starcraft-ii-system-requirements
Borderlands 2: http://www.ign.com/wikis/borderlands-2/System_Requirements
PC Specs: AMD FX 4.3Ghz Quad Core
OS: Windows 7 x64
Motherboard: ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX
Processor: AMD FX-Series FD4170FRGUBOX (Zambezi Quad-Core FX-4170)
Video: AMD Radeon HD 6770
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ES 320GB SATA 3.0Gb/s
Memory: Pareema MD313C81609L1 DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) (16 GB total)
Im curious if anyone can use a scan log to check to confirm that everything is up-to-date, and perhaps able to narrow down what the problem is.
I am well over the specs for Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, and even Borderlands 2 (which isnt a slow to load, but should run smoother at higher settings).
I believe everything is up to date, but im afraid ive missed something.
Thanks in advance for any possible solution(s); everything helps!
Please let me know if any further clarification is needed.
