I'm currently experiencing some troubles with Windows Media Player. I cannot open the program or open any media associated to the program (.mp3, .wmv, .wav, etc.) When I try to open the program itself, nothing happens. No message, nothing, it just doesn't open. When I try to open a file associated with the program, a message box will pop up with the location of the file in the title and description, and also in the description it will say "Server execution failed".

An example image is here: http://i.imgur.com/W65Ybt7.png

From seeing some alternate answers about this on the Microsoft Answers forums, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it by going to "Turn Windows Features On and Off", and I've also tried the method where you type net localgroup "Administrators" "NT Authority\Local Service" /add into a command prompt with elevated privileges.

Thanks,
Brad

Hello, we do not know your Operating system or WMP version.

Try using Fix WMP Utility
