I am a new DropBox user. I find the upload speed to be quite slow - am getting about 15kB/sec even though I set DropBox preferences for unlimited download and unlimited upload speed. The speed test at DSLReports.com measured my download speed at 580kb/sec and my upload speed at 139kb/sec. Why is DropBox so slow? Is there anything I can do to improve the upload speed? Or is this just a misunderstanding on my part?

Thank you.

Well, with overheads an upload rate of 139kb/s is probably going to transfer about 15kB/s - is your test result actually in kilobits per second?
