My computer is running on Windows 7 and everytime I try to scan the computer using Microsoft Essentials, AVG 2013, or Malwarebytes, my computer never goes all the way through with the scan and freezes the computer. Also when I try to download the recommended importnant Windows updates, I get a failure to configure Windows updates, reverting changes. Then it restarts several times. Please help me I work from home and this is costing me too much money.

I would just recommend backing up your important documents and reinstall windows. easy fix, you may never be able to fully tell if it is actually gone or not.
