back in my old post, i said that my computer wouldn't read my hard drive, and i said for some reason it just works now, i now it'll die soon, but why can i still go on the computer when the hard drive stop reading disks.

Anything that has to do with disks as in reading or writing or playing games, it wont' work, but everything else with my computer is fine.

I presume you're referring to 3.5" or CD disks. I would suspect your problem is with these drives. Are they recocognized in 'My Computer?'
