I have a client that has an intermittent problem with accessing google from multiple computers on what seems a random basis. At first we thought it was linked to sending email from within Quickbooks but yesterday it was all 3 computers. It is specific to google.com and gmail pages, they get a 404 error. When this occurs it is only google us, all other web pages work and google.co.uk will work. So far we have:
-Scanned for malware with multiple scanners, both offline and online;
-Updated all browsers to current release;
- All browsers are affected, IE, FF, Chrome;
-flushed DNS and removed all add-ons, renewed all certificates;
-Turned on and off AV programs, firewalls, etc;
When it occurs it will return to working for no apparent reason after random amounts of time. The client does have a google business (paid) gmail account.
Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, please enlighten me
