Hello all. Not sure if this was the right forum to post this in. Feel free to move if needed.

My question is I got a large enough external hard drive, could i burn several different bootable operating systems on it to where i could plug it in to a computer and boot off it whatever o.s. i choose. Example: win xp,7,8... Or would i have to use seperate usb flash drives for it.

Thanks in advance.

You're welcome. Here's a screenshot of the Grub bootloader with Windows 7 & Windows XP on a USB stick:
