Hi all i have a computer that im cleaning up for a friend unfortunatley he doesnt no much about computers. so here it goes he can't get an internet connection whatsoever even mobile broadband as the machine wont detect the usb so i cant get any cleaning  tools onto it.  He had avast installed which didnt work nor did he have his firewall on luckily the avast set up was still on the machine.  When reinstalled a boot time scan detected 87 infections but still nothing works any ideas on how i can get it connected to another machine to transfer the cleaning tools.

Yep if system restore doesnt work,it could be had to troubleshoot on this system with no internet and no options to copy tools.

Recovery partition will restore your PC to factory settings. All datas would be removed. If you dont have anything important in your netbook, you can restore using recovery partition.
