I apologize for likely putting this in the wrong area earlier.

Is there a way to uninstall this completely? I admit to screwing up the uninstall and I didn't use the uninstall feature in my control panel. Now, most of the program is gone, but the last bits of it are still listed in the program list. I tried uninstall, but I fear I deleted some of the necessary stuff by mistake, and it says it can't uninstall. Re-installing to do it properly won't work either, the installer can't remove the old version and says 'fatal error'.

Thanks

Restart the PC and let us know if  paint still shows up in add or remove programs.

It's not listed in Fixit's product list either.

You said you were able to see it in add or remove programs.

Try the revo uninstaller free version

Yes, but then I tried again and found it that time. It appears to have worked, even without a reboot...but I'll still do a restart if you'd like. Sorry, I tried to edit my post.

:welcome:  Reboot is not necessary if the entry has been removed.
