I hope this post finds you all well. I recently spilled orange juice on the keyboard of my XPS14z laptop. The computer has been functioning fine except for several sticky keys.
However, 2 days post spill my cpu has been at a constant turbo boost of 3.4-3.5 ghz. (i7 2.8ghz processor). The fan has been constantly running at high speeds as well. Any idea on if it could be the spill thats causing this? Im thinking of opening the machine to clean any residues.
What do you all think? I appreciate your help in advance.

I would not recommend that you open it.  Other then the HD and Memory, other items on a laptop are difficult to get to.  I even did a quick search at ifixit.com and there are no teardown guides for this model.

If it was just water, I would say to let it air dry for 24-36 hours.  Being that it is something that could potentally be sticky when dry, this is best to be taken to a professional in person.
