Hey everyone. Sorry if I seem incompetent, but I'm a new user. I don't know if any of you can help, but I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 440CDT laptop (I know it's crappy, but it was free and just for menial tasks) and I wanted to purchase a wireless internet card, but I don't know which one is compatible. Any suggestions? Please help!!

You should be able to fit a PCMCIA NIC for it. They are on eBay for as little a $10 used. $40 to $100 new. Some even have a 56k modem also.
I do not recommend USB except as a last choice.

umasstreehuggr won't have to worry about that.
I had the same model about 8 years ago and it pre-dates usb.
Got it for $40.00 in a garage sale.
PCMCIA Type II PC wireless card "should" work.
The only problem may be with the OS compatability. If it's still got Win95 on it that is.
