i'm losing my hearing

ok now when I am pluged in to the wall on my lap top. I have sound.

but when I unplug it and sit down some where. where there isnt any power

I loose my sound. its got me thinking Ive lost my hearing.

sounds like it might be a power saving option ,but i can say for sure because i don't see that option in any of my own power saving features

Make sure that somehow the selected sound device is correct. It should be set as speakers I believe on the sound device icon. It may be getting switched somehow going from being plugged into the wall to using battery power.
