OK about a week ago I start getting emails from Comcast saying that Constant Guard has determined that I have a bot and telling me to update Norton and Java and Get Microsoft malicious software remover and run it. Everything shows good and the computer acts fine. Anyway this escalated to about 3 emails a day and now it has started throwing pop-up windows up every time I open up a new window. I called Comcast, they said to call Constant Guard. They said For $130 they will tell me how to fix it. I called Comcast back they said not to  do that, instead call Norton. Well Norton Says they can't fix it to call Comcast so I call them back and finally get a lady on the phone who is somewhat familiar with the problem and says she's not allowed to tell me any more about it but that it will get worse... wtf???  Anyway has anybody got any ideas about this?

Thanks for the update.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Nope its back again, After a few hours of running different spyware tools and calling everyone at Comcast, Norton and Constant Guard finally talked to a guy at their security center who tells me that Comcast has decided to become the computer police so anytime they get the slightest whiff of a problem on someone's computer all these bells and whistles start going off and they begin sending them emails and blocking their screen view with popups. Apparently the only sure way to get rid of it is to get rid of Comcast..

Sorry, I missed a notification.

Maybe we can find something with a deeper look. Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
