I have no idea what to do about it. One thing that I do know however, is that when I end a rundll32.exe program at startup, my desktop doesn't change into a screen advertising spyware removal etc, it turns into a grey screen. Im not sure if thats helpful, but I would really like to see my backgrounds again D=

I ran the program you said to twice, but it didnt give me a log either time. and I attatched a HijackThis log below. I also included a link to a picture of my desktop and the message that's stuck there. I as well learned that if i hold my mouse at the top of the screen, a toolbar appears and I can close the message and seem my desktop. I still would like it gone however.

Did you got an error or something else when running Fixwareout?

--------------------------

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order in which they are mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.

Step #1

Before cleaning your computer, may I ask you a favour?

CLICK THIS TO LINK TO BE SURE YOU CAN VIEW HIDDEN FILES

Please go here:
The Spy Killer Forum
  • Click on "New Topic"
  • Put your name, e-mail address, and this as the title: "msnscpr.dll"
  • Put a link to this topic in the description box.
  • Then next to the file box, at the bottom, click the browse button, then navigate to this file:
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\msnscpr.dll
  • Click Open.
  • Click Post.
Thank you!

Step #2

Scan again with HijackThis and check the following items:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - AutorunsDisabled - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {78364D99-A640-4ddf-B91A-67EFF8373045} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msnscpr.dll

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{0A55C641-61E8-4DD4-8849-6BEC39E25E27}: NameServer = 85.255.113.106,85.255.112.111
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{9A35F99F-C63C-4DFF-9CDA-47862EF0B676}: NameServer = 85.255.113.106,85.255.112.111
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{B32AE2FC-D300-4A8A-BE12-304BBA768BF7}: NameServer = 85.255.113.106,85.255.112.111
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\..\{0A55C641-61E8-4DD4-8849-6BEC39E25E27}: NameServer = 85.255.113.106,85.255.112.111
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\..\{0A55C641-61E8-4DD4-8849-6BEC39E25E27}: NameServer = 85.255.113.106,85.255.112.111

After checking these items, close all browser windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked".

Then REBOOT your computer.

Step #3

Please run Fixwareout.exe again. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
