This is for PC1. There are others on the network.

I don't know that I am infected. Comcast is sending me emails that I have a bot.

    Looking good.

    Remove this old version of  Java™ 6 Update 31 using the Add/Remove Programs list.

    ===

    Get the latest version of the  Adobe Reader.
    Before your download I suggest you unckeck the box on the top right "Yes, install McAfee Security Scan Plus - optional" this is not required if you are not a McAfee subscriber. While the installation is in progress you can also deny the installation of any other programs that may be suggested.

    When installed remove your old version of the Reader using the Add/Remove Programs applet if present.

    ===

    If all is well.

    Time for some housekeeping

    The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset  System Restore points:

    Click Start > Run  and copy/paste the following bold text into the Run box and click OK:

    ComboFix /Uninstall

    ===

    To remove AdwCleaner.

    Please double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
    Click on Uninstall.
    Confirm with Yes.

    If you decide to keep the AdwCleaner tool make sure delete your version and download the latest before running it.

    Delete the other tools we used.
    You can Keep the DDS tool as most forum will ask to see a log before suggesting a fix.

    Thank you for your help.

    Can I conclude that this PC was not infected? (unlike the other...)

    From what I can see.

    This scan may find something.

    I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan
  • Hold down Control and click on the following link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
  • Click the button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
  • Click on to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the icon on your desktop.
  • Check
  • Click the button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check
  • Push the Start button.
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, push
  • Push , and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Push the button.
  • Push

    ESET found two items:

    C:\Users\chregeli\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\H8GHGTZA\dj-bistro_com[1].htm JS/TrojanDownloader.Agent.NWI trojan cleaned by deleting - quarantined
    C:\Users\imhofr\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\RWIVNX20\ho8epic33[1].htm JS/Agent.NEY trojan cleaned by deleting - quarantined

    Looks like ESET was able to clean
