I have an Alfa 2000mw 2W Waterproof Marine high power Long Range Outdoor 802.11
B, G, N, USB wireless network Wifi Adaptor with Integrated 12dBi
Antenna.  It is installed outside as we get no wifi signal inside our home. The Router is across the street in our office space. The adapter plugs into my laptop by usb, but only supplies wifi to my computer. Any suggestions?  What I can use to broadcast the signal through out the house so I can use my Ipad?  Can I set up my computer as a virtual router?

Thanks for your help. I am using a Toshiba windows 7 laptop at this time.

You can bridge your wireless to you Lan connection and connect another router. You could also use internet sharing and use the laptops internal wireless as the acces point. Your best solution would be to change to a router that supports external antennae. The alfa R36 is compatible with the Alfa AWUS036H.
