I'm having an issue with an Acer computer that is only a few months old.  It runs Windows 7 Professional and today as it's starting up all that chappens is the "Please wait" deal as it's supposedly loading.  With a forced reboot I can start in Safe Mode but Normal mode keeps me in the "Please wait" mode.  If it were updates I'm sure an hour would be more than enough time to wait.  Any ideas?

As a side I know the user on that computer opens a lot of email that is questionable so I'm wondering if this might be the problem....something opened that shouldn't have been.

Try this...

Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 stops responding at the "Please wait" screen before you are requested to press Ctrl+ALT+DEL

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
