I bought a new Laptop the Asus on 11/2012 thru Walmart online due to my Dell having so many problems and my inability to repair slow computer and programs asking me to run example "jucheck.exe" problems with Adobe and performance issues. The brand new Asus was problematic a week after purchase with keys typing ( typing a message and then noticed it started typing 2 paragraphs back, I tried to get support thru Asus but still have problems and Windows  updates?? am I getting them. I bought Webroot antivirus.. I would like help with both laptops as I had to use the Dell for a month due to the Asus not able to get online and I finally got thru to a Asus support person and they had me do a partion but it still has problems so I bought a $50.00 recovery disc which I have not recieved yet, I just want a laptop that can trouble shoot itself  or operate easier than what I seem to go thru. I seem to be trying to fix things rather than getting any  enjoyment from both laptops. Also I have Verizon Mifi 451OL F273 and I wonder if my security may be affected as I see 2 dots on the Mifi when there should only be one, when I am using the wireless and I got a email that I used over 90% of its allowed coverage allowance?? which is weird cause I could not get internet connection on Asus for about 1 month. I want to run some tests and need help.

Thank you , Cathy

I noticed I have a jucheck.exe and is requesting your permission on my Dell Inspirion which has been on this for a long time and I tried to remove but see on your startups it is a worm and your site gives the tools to try and remove.. Can I use Combo fix tool as it claims to find and fix most problems

This site is wonderful!! I wish I would of found it years ago.. my computer time maybe would of been more enjoyable and I like that computer terminology on your site is not like reading the typical computer lingo sites.. this site is humane..

Hello, ;let me see if I can get somewhere..
The jucheck.exe is the Java update verification process. This process will check on the internet for available updates for the Java software installed on your computer. If updates are available, it will notify you and/or manage the download and install of the updates. You should leave this process running in order to keep your Java up to date.
Do you get a pop up window saying .. Java update is available?? If so install it.
Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.Checkmark the following checkboxes:

  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run. Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed

Now I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan

  • Hold down Control and click on this link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
  • Click the   button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
  • Check "YES, I accept the Terms of Use."
  • Click the Start button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Under scan settings, check "Scan Archives" and "Remove found threats"
  • Click Advanced settings and select the following:
    • Scan potentially unwanted applications
    • Scan for potentially unsafe applications
    • Enable Anti-Stealth technology
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, click List Threats
  • Click Export, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Click the Back button.
  • Click the Finish button.

NOTE:Sometimes if ESET finds no infections it will not create a log.
Does the ASUS connect now?
If no....
try these...
Please click Start > Run{{for Vista..Press “Windows” and “R” keys simultaneously}} type inetcpl.cpl in the runbox and press enter.
Click the Connections tab and click the LAN settings option.
Verify if "Use a proxy..." is checked, if so, UNcheck it and click OK/OK to exit.

Now check if the internet is working again.
Go to Start ... Run and type in cmd
A dos Window will appear.
Type in the dos window: netsh winsock reset
Click on the enter key.
Reboot your system to complete the process.
Now run Minitoolbox

Also place a Credit card over the Touch pad and type... If the cursor stops moving to other places, then it is your hand hitting th touch pad.. I do this,

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
