Does anyone know where I can get an illuminated WIRELESS keyboard with a trackball or touchpad built in? I have searched everywhere I know to look with no luck. I did find these tiny remote control sized things, but I need it to be a little bigger than that. Thanks for any help :)

The only ones I know of that are wireless and illuminated with touchpads are the mini ones by visiontek. Never heard of or seen an illuminated keyboard one with a trackball.

Illuminated and wireless full size keyboard I use is the Logitech K800. No touch pad though.

Yeah the Visiontek ones are just too small for what I am looking for. I really wish the Logitech K400 was illuminated. I may go ahead and get that one, and just deal with the low light situations. The reason I want one is because I am a police officer and my laptop touchpad is old and going bad (worn out in one spot) causing me to have issues with the cursor. Also, I would like to be able to sit in my squad car and not have to reach while typing a report in my vehicle. The K400 seems perfect (minus the no illumination part beings I work nights).

Have you considered an external USB light source for the keyboard to avoid the backlight/low light issues? There are all sorts of variations we can look at here with regards to combinations of external peripherals and selective lighting. All depends on how sophisticated you want or need to get with your auxiliary/external rig.

Also, thank you for your service to your community.

Well the police cars are equipped with a hardwired light for the laptops that connect to the laptop stands in the car. I would think that would suffice for now. If I find out that it doesnt provided enough light I may consider other options. smile.png I seen USB light somewhere that was on some "geek" site that was very small and low profile that plugged right into a USB port, but now I cant find them. sad.png Oh well..I guess I shall continue to look. And thanks for the appreciation, we (LEO's) dont get that much anymore.

God Bless.

**EDIT**

I found the site for the light I was speaking of : http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/mr-brightside-usb-keyboard-light/

Seems pretty handy :)
