Need help fixing a netbook...

My netbook's Windows XP installation got corrupted or something and is now unable to boot into Windows. I used "winsetupfromusb" to create a bootableUSB disk containing Windows XP installation files but whenever I tried to install, it gives a "cmd.exe" error. What should I do?
