I work with a company that uses Rackspace for their e-mail service, and the general consensus is that they are happy with it. They have a mix of PCs and Macs, and use Outlook, Mail.app, and webmail to access their e-mail. The control panel is straight-forward and they are able to create and manage their own users, I hardly intervene unless there is an issue. Support has answered the phone anytime I have called, but we were yet to run into anything serious to know if they would be helpful or not.
There are a lot of things to consider when changing over e-mail systems, is there a reason you are interested in this company in particular? What are you running now?
