Hello -

You will find a full list of tools on the resources site http://performance-testing.org/
The lowest cost load testing tool I found was called LoadStorm. The free account never expires and you can prove to yourself that you like the tool before running larger tests.
I do not know if all are free, or trial based, so you can scroll down the list and check out each one


I have never used or had a use for these, so if you need them you may know what to look for -
