I have Win Server 2008 R2 (productivity machine for running VMs, not a prod server)

All of my files are hidden, and program files are removed from start menu. Even the Administrative tools are missing!

Can't open task manager or dos prompt.

When I try to install malwarebytes installed I get "Access Denied" message when it's trying to register.

I'm not sure if UNHIDE supports server but just try it

Download UNHIDE

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/unhide/

Run it and this should restore the hidden files.Malwarebytes should install after unhiding the files.
