Hello, all you charitable computer experts (and n00b hobbyists such as I)! I'm new to self-repairing computer issues, and since I work on several computers shared with people with a serious lack of common sense, I often try to work and am confronted with popups, slowdowns, and other malware issues, which I end up having to fix myself. When I was in high-school I was more of a "power user" than I now am, but computer technology was a LOT different then (WINXP was new, for instance). Thus, having gotten good information on repairing a problem posted by an existing user a couple of months ago, I decided to join the forums myself so I can be a part of this great community. I hope that I can learn from you all while becoming a more independent IT user. Thanks in advance!
