Hello,

I am working with a moderator in another thread to clean up my notebook and a couple of networked desktops, but before we move on from the desktop he recommended I reinstall Firefox.

I cannot uninstall Firefox either through my Add or Remove Programs in my Control Panel OR by following the destination to the helper.exe in C:\ProgramFiles\MozillaFirefox\Uninstall\helper.exe.

Both places I click and nothing happens.  Help?

Kristie

Whoops.  Change that to 18.0.2.

I tried seeing if there was an update that would fix the issue, but it says I have 18.0.2 on the Firefox browser help tab, although my control panel only shows 18.0.1.

I did find one other option on the Mozilla forums for uninstalling.  There was a suggestion (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/947806) to use Revo Uninstaller:  http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninsta.../3000-2096_4-10687648.html?tag=mncol;1

Any thoughts on that?  Or directions about how else to get this uninstalled?

I have boopme on hold over in my thread until I can figure this out.  sad.png

Revo uninstaller should work.
