I want to try CableNut to tweak my cable internet settings. I did not see my download and upload speeds in the steup .dat files.
Does any one kow how to tweak the speed settings in this progrms. My download/upload specs are 4000kbs/512kbs.
Any help is welcome.

Acklan,after reading your post, I took a look at the site. While I was browsing around it,reading what it is about I found this 'help' page. Don't know if you saw it so here it is. Hope it helps. I'm still learning what the prog does so I haven't tried it . Hope it helps.

Thanks , for that... I,ve read and downloaded. I'll install tomorrow as I needed to finish some financials. Couldn't risk any PC issues at the time.

I test the downloads but that did not change . The brwsers loaded alot faster IMO.

Been using it a long time now, the old 4.2 version.
As it stood by itself, there wasn't many pre-configured setting options.
I had to download a seperate update file for that which gave me tons more options.
I don't see that with the new version. Maybe they're included now?
It can help improve performance in some cases but obviously can't control anything on the other end, which has more to do with download speeds then anything else. A slow or busy site is a slow or busy site and there's nothing you can do about it.

HM look at the link in post #4. It worked for me. It appears to have reduce the pause from "Click to page" for me.
