Can't get my computer to do start up repair

I have an Asus laptop model number K52F and I'm trying to repair computer with its own start up repair, but I am having problems getting that done. Please help

So I assume windows will start and it boots you into a recovery mode - is that the case? - have you tried other modes such as safe mode? If it boots you into 'launch startup repair' at what point does it stop. And what led up to this - when did it start?
