I am losing my system restore points and my computer is not creating them on its own. Any ideas?

Has it been over a week since your last restore point was created?

If nothing has changed in seven days Windows will not create a restore point until after a week.

How are you attempting to create the restore point?

Is it the way which is suggested here?
