Hello,
Apologies if this is the wrong place for this.
I've noticed in the last month or so that any open windows keep deselecting. This problem was much worse when I was having problems with McAfee, and seemed to stop once I solved those.
However I have noticed that it is still occurring, just not as often. This happens in Chrome and in Windows.
Any tips as to how I can stop this would be much appreciated.

Since you posted Chrome I will assume that this problem in happening only when you are online?

By deselecting do you mean the the website keeps changing to another?

If you answered yest to these two questions you may be infected with malware, the first place to start is in the "Am I Infected? What Do I Do?" forum. This is a centralized place where advanced members and staff can provide initial assistance with malware removal.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Hello,

It is happening with Word as well, in fact any active window. I'm guessing there's a process that is drawing focus from it, but I don't know how to ago about identifying what it is and if it is malicious.

The website itself doesn't change, the window simply deselects itself.
