Am I infected?

I am on Windows 7 using IE 9. When I start IE, I get a pop up for a Guitar. If I leave IE running for an extended period of time the computer slows to a crawl, and if I look at that system manager it shows IE consuming over 300MB of space.

Thanks

Paul
