clean install from xp Home to xp pro

NOTE: sorry should have typed "clean install from WinXp HOME to XP PRO:
Dell Dimension 8250 computer with Win XP HOME and I want to reformat and reinstall OS. I only have a DELL Win XP PROFESSIONAL disc from my other computer. Is this allowed?

No...you don't have a legal license for XP Pro on the system you wish to install it on...and the license for XP Pro applies to only one system, the system for which the Dell CDs were created.

One license, one system.
