I want to upgrade my current graphics card. My current mobo only supports PCI and AGP cards (No PCI-E). Should I upgrade my mobo to take advantage of the new PCI-E cards or will I be safe with my AGP board?

Also, I was wondering if anyone had a link to a cheap ($100-$200) GeForce 6800 GT or Ultra in AGP form. Thanks!

What motherboard do you have now? Make, model, CPU, and RAM (Type and quantity)?

I found a nVidia 6800 GT with 128mb AGP for about $150.

I have a PC Chips M861G Mobo. It has a 754-pin Athlon 3000+ processor and a gig of RAM.

Sounds like you have a good motherboard. If it were me I would go with the AGP adapter and keep the motherboard you have.

AGP is still a good system... I have a 9600 Pro and run demanding games like Lineage 2 with high graphics...
