Hi,

I have Compaq cq-61 with T4400, 3GB Ram, Win 7, 64 bit.

When I'm doing Backup via iTunes or doing some other "heavy" actions, the CPU and RAM goes up. There are no infections, malware etc... Just an old com that feels heavy :)

How do I make my come lighter/faster?
I'll be happy if someone can explain me about un neccessary background services, maybe disabling some graphic features etc

2. RAM - I have 64 bit, so could be better to upgrade to ram, right?
How do I know which RAm to buy etc?

Thanks!

Please post a snapshot with Speccy as this may give us a bit more to look at -
Publish a Snapshot using Speccy < < Follow These Directions

From there we can see how you can add a bit more RAM and see if there is basically anything else you can do -

Thank You -

About the RAM - it says 2 slots are used. I wonder what size of RAM I have in each one of them.
