Windows XP 32 bit.
Boy did I have a problem the other day I got that FBI trojan come up on my computer. It says your computer is locked and that it is. So anyway, got it in safe mode and got rid of that. I went to do a update to Microsoft Security Essentials and it was not working, so uninstall that and reload. After I got it loaded, and on the last screen, there was note that:Install is successful but warning - firewall is still turned off for some unknowen error. Turn on manually.

I went into control panel, security and cliked on Firewall and a box cam up:Due to an unidientified problem, windlows can not display windows firewall settings...

My question is, how do I now get the firewall turned on? Right now it is off. Thanks for any help you can give me.
