I did a fresh install of my Windows 7 system over the holidays to generally speed the system up and all seemed to be fine. In the last few days, however, my system is hanging up on for 5-10 seconds (and longer) when accessing the internet, using photoshop, using Word and others. By handing up I mean I can move my mouse but when I click anywhere nothing happens. For example, I try to close a browser window and it won't react. The rotating circle icon just keeps spinning. I had an intro copy of Norton 2010 which I uninstalled. I ran Malaware and windows essentials but nothing came up. I don't really want to go through another fresh install. Of note, is that I have noticed that I can no longer click to open a link from Outlook. What should I do to see if this is virus related or something else? Thanks so much for your help.
