I've seen it called a variety of things but they all refer to URL input and display of URL's. The following are some of the names I have seen used and are in no particular order, Address Bar, Address Location Bar, Location Bar and Address Field.

Thanks Animal. I had a member ask how to find their topic after they had been away long enough for it to get buried. I explained about copying and saving the number 1 post hyperlink and that they could insert in in the... , well... I didn't know what to call it! I think the solution may be to call it the address bar, but add the picture I used here to be able to visually identify it.
