I would appreciate if someone would point me to sites that conduct technical reviews / comparisons of firewalls. We all have our opinions of what we like, but I am interested in seeing the technical data from sites that actually test the firewalls. Thank you.

Well -
I Googled "comparisons of firewalls" and got anything from, major advertising campains by the top 50 Firewalls, all the way just to descriptions of Firewalls by Wiki -

There seems to be very few places that do Unbiased / Private testing just on firewalls.

But don't give up, as someone may leave a decent link for you -

I had the same experience which is why I am asking for help. There must be some organization that has conducted unbiased testing of firewalls.

Silly me -- all I had to do in google is search for "independent firewall testing".
I found independent firewall test results at

http://www.matousec.com/projects/proactive-security-challenge-64/

Click on "Results and comments". Anyone have any comments on these test results?

Yes, Matousec test's firewalls: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matousec

Yes...but not their pure firewall features - those are tests of proactive features like HIPS/blocker/monitor modules...and officialy such tests are provided already 4 years. I think more close to firewall tests are thos from anti-malware.ru
http://www.anti-malware.ru/firewall_test_outbound_protection_2011
but not so close as the tests from 2008/2009 on programmifree.com
http://www.programmifree.com/confronti/confronto-firewall08.htm
