I'm 53 years old, female, and I'm 1 class away from an associates degree in computer support. I learned about this site from a email newsletter that I get from techrepublic.com. I discovered that my computer was part of a bot net last year. I formatted the drive and re installed my programs, installed a software firewall, and changed my antivirus. I also have anti-malware and anti-spyware running at boot. I'm still uneasy about security, so I want to install Combofix and run that just to make sure that I've covered all the bases.
Can you guys think of anything that I haven't done?
