Today while my wife and I were out of town my youngest son chose to visit a few porno sites in hopes we would not find out. However he managed to get the computer infected with Malware that places a warning on the computer stating that the computer has been locked due to the Department of Justice detecting illegal activity on this machine. It demands a $300 payment to unlock the machine and I cannot remove this malware from my machine. Could someone please help me get my computer back up and running properly? Thanks in advance for all assistance.

Hi BooPME and thank you for assisting me. When I posted my original message in this thread I had already booted my PC in safe mode w/ networking so I began reading the instructions included in your link. When those directions prompted me to download the Emsisoft program my computer went to the page that says "Webpage cannot be found". So it appears that I have multiple problems I believe. Can you offer any more assistance?
