Windows Updater ruined. Need software

I suspect Spybot killed my windows 7 updater and since I have removed Spybot and its settings I'm left stumped. I need to download something to download updates/fix windows 7 updater. Otherwise I have to spend money I don't have to get everything re-installed. I don't have the disks or a backup point on my PC (spare me the lecture =p). Any Ideas?

*edit*: I tried to enable but it just freezes and windows restarts not long after. The desktop stays but my browser/task manager goes away and pops back. Previusly i had posted this on another forum here months ago:

Please download Farbar Service Scanner Download Link and run it on the computer with the issue.
  • Make sure the following options are checked:

    • Internet Services
    • Windows Firewall
    • System Restore
    • Security Center/Action Center
    • Windows Update
    • Windows Defender
  • Press "Scan".
  • It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please copy and paste the log to your reply.
