how to open .xap file in Win7 ?

Please help me to open a .xap file. I have no idea what is this about.

I rename .xap to .zip, but still can't open. Would my orginal file corrupted ?

Not by renaming the extension, no.

I believe .xap is a window phone file format. But, my computer has no WP emulator to see it. What else can I do ?
