Running xp pro sp2. Problem just started. cannot open Internet Explorer I get

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library

runtime error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way please contact the applications support team for more information

Hi encorepilot :)

You really should be using Windows XP Service Pack 3. Service Pack 2 has been unsupported for sometime now and applications may not function properly.

Did yo try reinstalling it?

Checkmark following boxes:

List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List restore points

Click Go and post the result.
