Upgrade driver question

Hi i just recently upgraded for xp to windows 8 and i need a better graphics card and was wanting to know if a Gateway E-4500s can handle a 256MB BFG GeForce 7800GTX PCI-E SDRAM Dual DVI BFGR78256GTXOC. Also can it be installed in to windows 8, is it compatible just any information please. I love the computer too much to destroy it.

if this is you system[see link ] i say no to that video card working, it would not fit into the case for one thing ,you would need a SFF/low profile video card to fit into the case ,like this one shown in you second link when you go to graphic cards .
