I have a PC computer with an Abit IC7-G motherboard and Award BIOS v6.00PG. Is there an upgrade for the BIOS that will allow the system to boot from a USB device such as a thumb drive?

Abit seems to be defunct. I have looked for an upgrade from Award but haven't found anything yet.
