For a couple days now our browsers (we use Firefox and Chrome, but we still have IE available and it's doing the same thing upon inspection) have been bombarded with ads, and our search engines have been redirected to something called easylife app. Something called privitize VPN is also listed in the search options. I found some easylife app things listed in the computer's programs and deleted them, but it hasn't changed the browser problems. I'd like to know what to do with those and how to get rid of all of it. We're using Windows XP. Please let me know any other information I need to provide. Thank you.

Download Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit from HERE
  • Unzip downloaded file.
  • Open the folder where the contents were unzipped and run mbar.exe
  • Follow the instructions in the wizard to update and allow the program to scan your computer for threats.
  • DO NOT click on the Cleanup button. Simply exit the program.
  • When done, please post the two logs produced they will be in the MBAR folder..... mbar-log-xxxxx.txt and system-log.txt
