I followed the directions posted by forum adict, very easy to follow. I am searching around because my computer is running a bit slow and I am starting to get odd messages, like exception error.... I know copy the exact message, will do.

How do I tell you what kind of and how much memory my computer has?

I have moved several programs, 'printshop', S.A. my games, (I don't have big games, mostly puzzles and word games) to an external hard drive but the memory still seems full so I wonder if it is full of 'cling-ons'.

thank you for your help.

oh wow. I just clicked on my own link....it worked! There u go, can't wait to hear what I need to do. Just for your info.

I use my computer for email, doing company accounts, internet courses, surfing, and I do like to play some games, no idea how big they are other than my son says they are tiny compared to the shoot em up games he plays.
